This year we are hosting a Street Style Braai Day event at our beautiful tasting room. Of course, braai treats will be the order of the day, and patrons can tuck into perfectly cooked lamb, delicious salads and a yummy dessert. Heritage Day which falls on a Thursday this year, is a South African public holiday that celebrates our rainbow nation’s diversity and that calls on South Africans to unite despite their differences. Nicknamed National Braai Day in 2005 as a result of a pointed media campaign lead by Jan Braai, the occasion traditionally sees families, friends and strangers unite over webers, drums and potjies. Join us on the 24th of September and have some of our amazing wine and enjoy our specially designed menu that celebrates braai day. Our Heritage Day celebration has all the ingredients for a perfect day out, kids entertainment, live music, great food and our beautiful landscapes and views. Booking is essential. Live performance by reggae music sensation: The Rivertones Rivertones were formed in Cape Town 2006 by founding member, Roland who made his stage debut at 12. Roland has performed in 15 countries for crowds of 75000 with the likes of ''The Wailers'' and founder Bunny Wailer in Re-Union Island in 2009. We can’t wait for Benguela Cove to be added to their impressive track record! The Menu: Street Style Spit Braai, delicious salads and yummy dessert
