Celebrate the Kings’ Coronation with High Tea at Benguela Cove
The new Kings’ Coronation is a remarkable event. On Saturday, 6 May 2023, Charles III will be crowned as King of England.
The coronation will be screened live in our tasting room from 11:00 for those that want to watch this historic and magical experience. To celebrate this important date in the English calendar, we will be serving a full British afternoon tea menu in the tasting room. The menu will consist of a selection of teas, freshly prepared finger sandwiches, scones, cakes and pastries. R550 per tray - serves two guests.
About the The Coronation Service
The history and ceremony of the Coronation is truly special. The Coronation of The King and The Queen Consort will take place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6th May 2023.
The Service will be conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury and will reflect the Monarch’s role today and look towards the future, while being rooted in longstanding traditions and pageantry.
Their Majesties will arrive at Westminster Abbey in procession from Buckingham Palace, known as ‘The King’s Procession’.
