Benguela Cove Wines, Stand C4 at the Wine Show, Durban June 5-7, 2014, Suncoast Durban Visitors to The Wine Show at Suncoast in Durban can sample the premier wines from Benguela Cove Wine Estate on Stand C4 - June 5-7 2014. Following the Durban event in 2012, the Wine Show is back, this time at Suncoast. This is one of the few shows that offer Durban wine lovers the opportunity to buy and sample fine wines from South Africa. Benguela Cove Moody Lagoon is featured at the show - an easy drinking, medium bodied Bordeaux style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The aroma is of ripe berries from the Cabernet Sauvignon and lighter greenish berries from the Cabernet Franc, which follows through with the delicious taste. The quality of the wines from Benguela Cove's vineyards benefits from the unique conditions of the estate's location at the ocean's edge, on the southern coast of South Africa. The south-easterly sea breeze is chilled by the Benguela Current that flows up from Antarctica, to cool the grapes at night after the hot summer days, irrigated by above-average rainfall for perfect viniculture. The vineyards planted across the estate are young and have already asserted the supreme quality of the terroir with a series of awards. These exceptional conditions and the skills of the winemaker create the superb Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz and other cultivars. Meet our friendly staff and find out more about the fine wines available at the estate, which has tasting rooms open seven days a week. It is one of the region's outstanding wine destinations, at the start of the renowned Hermanus Wine Route, and a member of the Bot River Winegrowers Association. The Wine Show is now established nationally as one of the preferred wine events of the year. Benguela Cove and other producers showcase their best wines to thousands of visitors.
