Taste Benguela Cove wines at the Eco Marine Village during the Hermanus Whale Festival this weekend from Friday, 2 October to Sunday, 4 October.
Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate is a 200-hectare lifestyle farm and exclusive luxury estate situated in Walker Bay, Hermanus. Overlooking the Bot River Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean; the favourable maritime conditions ensures that this unique terroir produces outstanding quality grapes.
The south-easterly sea breeze is chilled by the Benguela Current flowing up from Antarctica, to cool the grapes at night after the warm summer days, irrigated by above-average rainfall, for perfect viticulture. These exceptional conditions and the skills of the winemaker create our superb wines.
On consumption wine sales of all Benguela Cove’s award-winning wines will be available in the Marine Mingle area in the marquee tent on the waterfront piazza. Benguela Cove is one of only two local wineries exhibiting. Purchase wines at cellar door price to enjoy on-site.
Bring the kids for an educational, fun day out where they can learn about sharks, whales and penguins at the exhibits while parents enjoy a glass of wine and bite to eat at the Savannah Café food court.
