Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate is proud to announce its involvement in this year’s Hermanus FynArts Festival. The Hermanus FynArts, currently in its fourth year, is an initiative of Hermanus Tourism and is organised by a dedicated management team. Benguela Cove has been involved in FynArts for the past two years and has an even bigger calendar of events planned for this, their third year.
The 2016 Hermanus FynArts Festival takes place from the 10th to the 19th of June and promises to delight all visitors. The list of events at Benguela Cove includes an art exhibition, pop-up champagne bar, gala dinner, cooking demonstration, French cheese and wine pairing and the results of their national art and design competition.
In keeping with this year’s French theme, Benguela Cove and Bruno Paillard Champagne present a pop-up champagne bar at the Manor House between 10am and 7pm daily for the entire duration of the festival. Visitors can enjoy premium French champagne by the glass and delicious fresh shucked oysters as they marvel at the various fine art exhibitions on show.
Maison Bruno Paillard sprang from its founder’s desire to create a champagne different from any other; extremely pure. A great champagne for Bruno Paillard is – above all – an “assemblage”, blending: of diverse crus, grape varieties, and vintages.
It is about the constant desire to capture the quintessential finesse and elegance which champagne can bring when it is served with love and care.
The Bruno Paillard style is a marriage of elegance and complexity which is manifested as a light and smooth effervescence, a remarkable purity, a true freshness and a silky texture.
This co-branded pop-up Champagne Bar event between Benguela Cove and Maison Bruno Paillard is very fitting as the luxurious French champagne is at home in the exquisite Benguela Cove Manor House. Visitors will be able to marvel at Jimmy Law and Janko de Beer’s exhibition Breaking Imagination: Deconstructing Countenance while sipping on a glass of Bruno Paillard Champagne and indulging in freshly shucked West Coast oysters.
